What have I done?
I love writing, telling stories and all that stuff.
I saw this bloke, Sir Marco Robinson, on Instagram, among all the cat videos, talking about being part of an author challenge. I listened and ignored it. The next day, it was back, so I ignored it again. Then, guess what? The good old algorithm popped up clips of his TV where he gave homes away to homeless people. So, I took a peek.
My first thought was, ‘It’s a scam, runaway’, so I clicked on the link. A few emails later, I was on a Zoom call with a young Swedish woman (that Marco knows what he’s doing!). Funny, really, the last time I thought I was getting into something dodgy, it also involved a blonde Swede.
After a long conversation, I decided to opt in and take the chance. The closest thing I can liken this to is when I first set up in business as web/graphic designer in the late 90’s. So few of us did it that work piled in at a crazy rate, something I found hard to deal with. It might sound odd to be unable to cope with your income quadrupling, but I couldn’t cope with it. This time there is a support team
After signing up, I got to speak to the surprisingly down-to-earth man himself. There is a complete online school to help us all (140) get stuck in and stay on track.
So far so good…
